We recently had eight main windows in our home replaced by ABAL. This was a most positive experience, as workmanship, quality of windows, courtesy and efficiency of installers were all of excellent quality. The installation of the windows themselves was completed in only one day, and exterior capping only required one extra day. The crew cleaned up thoroughly, both inside and outside. We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend this company, and have already booked them for our next project - roofing.

This letter is to inform the BBB of Southern Alberta of the excellent service and installation that I have recently experienced with ABAL Building Products Ltd.
Mr. Hal Sellen of ABAL met with me in late June 2006 to initiate the process by taking measurements of the windows to be replaced, discussing the different types of window styles and openings available, and providing a cost estimate.o This was followed up by a second visit (my apologies, I have forgotten the name of the individual) within ten days to validate both the window measurements and opening styles that I had decided upon during the initial visit.
The window installation occured on August 28/29, 2006, two weeks ahead of schedule! The individuals who installed the windows (Bryce and James) did an excellent job: there was no damage to the hardwood floors that I have on the level where the windows were installed, and aside from the expected dust that is created during this type of construction, there were no other incidents worthy of mentioning. As promised, all of the old windows and trash associated with the installation process were cleaned up and removed by ABAL. A total of six windows were replaced by ABAL.
I am very impressed with the quality of construction of the windows and with the professional attitude of all of the people whom I have had the pleasure of dealing with at ABAL during the service and installation process, and I would recommend their services to anyone who are interested in upgrading windows in their homes.

On April 24, 2000 we had new windows put into our house. We also had our kitchen window replaced by a bay window. We are so thankful that we had this work done because there is more light in my kitchen. I also like the feature that I don't have to go outside to clean windows anymore. It's so much more convenient to be able to just release a leaver and have the window flip forward to be cleaned.
The fellows who installed our windows are very conscientious about their work and also very efficient about clean-up. We really enjoyed talking to them while they were here. They arrived late in the afternoon on the 24th and after replacing a living room window, a small kitchen window, two bedroom windows, a bathroom window and a bay window in my kitchen they had everything done and cleaned up by 10 pm the following day.
We would recommend these windows to everyone who is thinking about replacing or even putting in new ones to call ABAL Building Products. We are very satisfied and thankful what we did.

A number of months ago, we contacted the ABAL Building Products representative to learn more about window installation – the features of the product, as well as pricing. We met with a sales representative shortly after for several hours one evening.
My husband and I made the decision to have all of our windows replaced, and to have two French style doors installed. We were impressed with numerous features highlighted during the sales presentation: ease of cleaning, insulation values, increased security. Keith had already done quite a bit of checking on prices for windows and doors at various retail outlets, and concluded that ABAL pricing was fair and competitive, particularly considering the quality of the product.
Our custom order was taken and delivered within the promised time lines. The windows and doors were installed promptly and efficiently. The windows and the doors all look great, and we've received many compliments on their appearance. We believe we've added greatly to the value, comfort and coziness of our home.
We would not hesitate to recommend this product, and have been very impressed by both the product and the services we received from ABAL personnel.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank ABAL, for the great windows. Our house stands out in the neighborhood and everyone seems to be commenting on how great they are and they are asking where we purchased them. I have given a few people the 1-800 number.
Just recently the weather has cooled and this was a great opportunity to test our new windows. We turned the heat on for about 10 minutes just enough time o have the house at a nice warm temperature. Then we turn the heat down as low as 15 degrees. We are amazed at how the temperature stayed at 20 degrees in our home, for most of the day. The heat is staying in our home and the cold is staying out. We are very excited about this.
We just sold our house. We were very confident in the value of these windows and we received listing price for our home. In my opinion these windows hold their value in appearance, and they are very energy efficient. If our new home requires new windows we will definitely go with ABAL again.
The contractors that did the work were very professional and paid attention to details.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing to install windows into my older inner city home.
When our windows were installed on January 24, 2003, these were the coldest days of the year, and also had some record freezing temperatures into February.
Right away we noticed a significant difference in the warmth of our home. The upstairs bedrooms are warm and cozy, no more shivering and going to bed with heat pacs. The rest of the house is equally as warm and cozy. For the first month or so I would find myself waiting for the furnace to click in, I realized that it did not run as often as it did and were warm just the same.
May I also add that we have noticed the quietness in the house. The new windows have muffled the outside noise as well.

Many thanks for the beautiful roof we now have. It looks really great! Now we won't have to worry about rain and having a bucket brigade going, or when the snowfall starts to melt. At least we won't have to worry about getting wet floors, and the rain dripping on the heater in the living room.
Please pass on our thanks to George for doing a great job. I was hoping he would still be home when I returned from taking my hubby back to the hospital after his day pass, but he had already left. Ray also likes the roof. Quite a few people have asked us about the roof, so we passed on your name to them. Hopefully they will be contracting you when they need a new roof on their houses.
Thanks again for the roof, and we are looking for a new siding on the house. Gerry Carfantan has phoned us and he will be in contact with us later on after my hubby is finally home from the hospital (today), then he will come and give us an estimate on how much it will cost us.
